Overview
Jason is a Denver-based adventure elopement photographer with a heart for the outdoors and a mission to capture honest, connection-driven moments. His work centers on inclusivity, family, and raw storytelling — creating experiences that are just as meaningful as the images themselves.

Challenges
In a saturated wedding industry dominated by whimsical, boho-inspired aesthetics, Jason needed a brand identity that reflected his deeper purpose — one rooted in authentic connection, adventurous spirit, and family-first values. The visual brand needed to feel elevated and trustworthy, while still grounded and approachable.

Through brand strategy and moodboarding, we positioned Jason as a trusted guide for adventurous couples — someone who captures not only stunning landscapes, but the spontaneous, emotionally-charged moments that unfold in them. The resulting identity leaned into dualities: rugged yet refined, raw yet intentional, adventurous yet premium.

The visual system was created to reflect Jason’s values — connection, adventure, and raw emotion. The final assets strike a balance between rugged charm and elevated clarity, creating a brand that feels both deeply personal and professionally refined.

Jason's primary logo blends his Canadian roots (maple leaf) with his current home in Colorado (mountains).
The rounded logotype adds a welcoming touch, reflecting Jason's commitment to inclusivity for all of his couples.


In the highly competitive wedding photography industry, we set Jason apart from his competitors by steering clear of the overused whimsical style. Instead, we developed visuals that capture his passion for adventure and the outdoors, hence, his niching down into adventure elopement photography.
